Indian squad for New Zealand tour 2014 announced

Indian squad for the upcoming New Zealand tour has been announced.Yuvraj singh was dropped from the squad.Stuart Binny and young Ishwar Pandey got place in the squad.Selection committee met at the cricket center to select the Indian squad for the upcoming New Zealand tour to be played in January-February 2014.India will play 5 one dyer and 2 test against New Zealand on this tour.

India VS South Africa 2nd test update

South Africa beats India in the 2nd test at Durban to win the 2 match test series by 1-0.South African bowlers was able to take early wickets and pushed India back.

It was a very big challenge for the young Indian batting line-up to face the brutal South African pace attack.At the start of the 5th day of play Dale Steyn removed Virat kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara early with a fierce pace bowling.

India lost 5 wickets in the first session of play.Spinner Robin Peterson took 4 wickets.Ajinkya Rahane stuck it out to score massively impressive 96 runs.But India kept losing wickets from the other end.

India took a lead of 58 runs to make South Africa bat again in the fourth innings.It took less then 12 over for South African openers to go over the line.

It was a perfect send-off from South African team to their legend Jack Kallis.He must be very pleased with his own performance in the last test match of his career.Though South Africa is the winner, but there was a lot of positive things India can take from this test series as they did not play like underdogs overseas.

2nd test updates of India vs South africa

Jack kallis proved again why he is considered to be the legend of modern day cricket and a great all-rounder as he scored a 115 runs facing 316 deliveries with 13 fours.He managed to score 45th century in his farewell test.

At the start of 3rd innings Murali Vijay went early for 6 off 13 balls with 1 boundary.Opener Shikhar Dhawan and chiteshwar Pujara was looking good as they were proceeding with a decent partnership.But Shikhar Dhawan played an unnecessary shot and got out courtesy of a great catch by Faf du plesis.

Vernon philander and Robin Peterson took 1 wicket each.India was on 68 for 2 when nature played its part again and the 4th day was closed by the umpires due to bad light on the ground.

4th ashes test update

Australia won the 4th test to take the lead of 4-0 in 5 match test series.Chris rogers scored 116 off 155 balls.Now England face the challenge of clean sweep in the 5 match series.

Nathan Lyon took 5 wickets in the 2nd innings.His 5 wickets helped Australia to close the England innings on just 179 runs.English bowlers was unable to pick up wickets to make the match interesting.It was yet another disappointing day for English team

At the end, Watson scored an unbeaten 83 and the captain Clark scored six to clinch the best fourth innings run chase in 51 years at Melbourne cricket ground which was previously England's 237 for three.

Now the 5th test will start on Friday in Sydney.It will be very interesting to see how English team performs to escape their clean sweep in the 5 match series of ashes test 2013.

The fourth ashes test between Australia and England is going on.At the end of the second day Australia is on 164/9 trailing by 91 runs.At the end of the first day England scored 226/6.At the second day England managed to score only 29 runs.Kevin pietersen scored 71 of 161 balls.with 5 boundaries and 1 six.

Australia is in all sorts of trouble after the loss of 9 wickets for just 164 runs.Chris rogers was the highest run scorer for Australia.He scored 61 of 171 balls with 8 fours.Brad haddin is not out on 43 at the end of the second day.

The opening day set a new world record of crowd at the Melbourne cricket ground. According to the ground officials the crowd attendance was 90,831 and this the highest number of crowd gathering for a single test match.

Australia have already won the series after the massive victory in the 3rd test at perth.Australia leading the 5 match series with 3-0.

South african cricket legend jack kallis to quit test cricket

South african all-rounder jack kallis is going to quit test cricket after the durban test against india.He announces his retirement from test cricket on wednesday.His form has been the concern in recent months.Finally he quits test cricket.

He made his test debut against England in December 1995.He played 165 tests scoring more than 13000 runs with an average of 55.12.He scored 44 centuries and 58 half centuries.He took 292 test wickets and took 199 catches only behind rahul dravid of India.He is the most complete cricketer ever played this game.

He is the highest run getter in test cricket for south africa.He has a great impact on south african team.So it will be interesting to see the south african cricket without jack kallis.

Andy Murray has defeated novak djokovic in straight-sets to become the prince of Wimbledon 2013.He is the first British man in 77 years to win the men`s singles tittle.The score was 6-4, 7-5, 6-4.

Andy Murray had every answers to the questions of novak djokovic.He was playing the match at his full caliber because he had the support of a millions of British people.It was one of the finest performances of andy murrays carrier.

Though djokovic was making it a bit difficult for murray but he made it very clear that he will not go out of the ground without the trophy.He received defeat in Australian open final by Djokovic and now it was payback time for murray and he did so.

The last British man to win the man`s singles final of wimbledon tournament is Fred perry in 1936.But now the parade is over as Andy Murray captured the most prestigious trophy in the tennis world.

The ashes is a test series played between England and Australia.The ashes started in 1882.It is one of the very important and prestigious cup for both England and Australia.The popularity and the reputation of the ashes is enormous.The ashes displays a very popular rivalries that exists in test cricket.

The ashes 2013 will start on 10th July.This time the series will be hosted by England.The series is going to be very exiting because there has been a enormous improvement in performances of English team.The five matches will be played in Trent bridge, Lords, Old Trafford, Riverside ground, and Kennington Oval.

England was the victorious team in the last ashes series though Australians has been more success to win the series between the two teams.Performances of the Australian team has not been good in the recent past.But it is not very difficult to predict that the Aussies will put their best effort on the ground to win the series

Andy murray and novak djokovic has reached to the final of wimbledon tournament 2013.Novak djokovic has deafeated del petro in a five sets semifinal game.Del petro was giving some tuff time to djokovic but at last was defeated by one of the best returners in the world.

Andy murray was playing against jerzy janowicz.Murray fought back well after losing the first set against jerzy.The match duration was 2 hours and 52 minutes but jerzy was not able to beat the great Britain's hero.

This is the third in the four grand salms that murray will be facing djokovic in the final.In 2012 us open murray defeated djokovic.But in the australian open djokovic defeated murray to become the king of australia.The 7th july will be the judgement day.Because on this day the two giants of the tennis world will be facing each other.Both of them will give what it takes to win one of the biggest title of tennis.
